2016 Arctic Circle Ultra-Marathon Winner Is Tiberiu Useriu

One of the most dangerous Ulta-marathon in the world, is 6633 Arctic Ultra and they say it’s the toughest considering the temperature and wind. The race is 350 miles and the participants have to pull sleds with provisions like food, clothing, and safety gear. This year the ultra-marathon was won by Tiberiu Useriu a Romanian who train hard in the heart of Romanian mountains, sleeping outside, running shirtless and fighting cold, freezing weather just to be able to do this amazing race.




He discover his passion in 2012 when he start running and supporting different causes. On this race, he got hurt but that didn’t stop him to finish with 1h advance from the second place winner. When he return to his country, fans and family received him at the airport singing “we are the champions” making him cry a little and he asked everybody to stop making him so emotional because he said: “It was hard, but not that hard” being very modest. Congratulations to a brave soul!
