824 people were deported in one month which is a record for Norway, who recently implemented a new policy to deport any Muslim that is connected with radical groups. Authorities have changed “portfolio priorities” and that has resulted in deporting more people back to Nigeria and Afghanistan in October, which is surprising for such a small country.
“The Ministry of Justice has decided that 7,100 individuals are to be deported by the end of 2014. At the end of October the number of deportations was already at 5,867.
“Many of the people who have been deported have been convicted of crime, or are individuals who have already been ordered to leave, but have returned to Norway illegally.” says on the Norway Post.
