Legendary musician, actor and performer David Bowie died yesterday at his home in Manhattan, New York. He was 69 years old. His death came just two days after releasing the album Blackstar, on his 69th birthday. Bowie was diagnosed with liver cancer just 18 months ago.
Bowie was born in Brixton, South London on January 8th, 1947. Known as a talented musician and performer, his career spanned over 4 decades. He was also well-known for his flamboyant, alter ego Ziggy Stardust.
