Christopher Dew who robbed a check cashing company in Irving, Texas, and who took a young, white female hostage. While holding the young woman at gunpoint, in a choke hold, Irving TX cops arrived. The guy threatened to kill her, and authorities opened fire, killing him immediately as he tried to pressure her into his vehicle.
A store owner captured the shooting.
