Labels, Lose Them!

“The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use the words.”
~ Philip K. Dick

“The real secret of magic is that the world is made of words, and that if you know the words that the world is made of, you can make of it whatever you wish.”
~ Terrance McKenna

“The first act of resistance always consists in freeing oneself from the dread and fascination of words. Words invoke images, which may be healthy or toxic, discouraging or rousing. Through words and their power to seduce, deceive or intimidate, the dominant system imprisons whomever it wants to subdue, long before resorting to more menacing weapons. Choosing the name by which one designates one’s adversaries, naming them, is already to exercise power over them, to make them play according to one’s own rules without them knowing it, preparing their annihilation, or conversely, freeing oneself from their grasp. That is what the emperor Julian, Machiavelli, Voltaire, Nietzsche or Solzhenitsyn did, as a way of liberating themselves.

Words are weapons. To arm oneself with one’s own words, and first and foremost, to name oneself, is to affirm one’s existence, one’s autonomy, one’s freedom. Thus, we designate ourselves as the defiant [insoumis].

The defiant stand in an intimate relationship to legitimacy. They define themselves in opposition to what they perceive as illegitimate. Confronted with usurpation or sacrilege, they are a law unto themselves, but only out of loyalty to a defiled legitimacy. Defiance is above all a thing of the spirit, before there is recourse to arms.”
~ Dominique Venner

We are worshippers of words and labels.
Labels seem to give satisfaction. We accept the category to which we are supposed to belong as a satisfying explanation of life. As the worshippers of words and labels; we never seem to go beyond the symbol, to comprehend the worth of the symbol. By calling ourselves this or that, we ensure ourselves against further disturbance, and settle back. One of the curses of ideologies and organized beliefs is the comfort, the deadly gratification they offer. They put us to sleep, and in the sleep we dream, and the dream becomes action. How easily we are distracted! And most of us want to be distracted; most of us are tired out with incessant conflict, and distractions become a necessity, they become more important than what is. We can play with distractions, but not with what is, distractions are illusions, and there is a perverse delight in them.

Everything is energy; energy is vibration; vibration is frequency. All of our thoughts and words have their own frequency and we are magnets, which means that whatever frequency we send out, the Universe sends back to us; this is how we create our own reality.

Language is therefore a very powerful tool in your ability to manifest and witches know this, since they may choose to craft particular phrases to focus and set their intention for what they wish to manifest into physical reality. Hence, the term ‘spelling’ is derived from the knowledge that words cast spells.

Knowing this, have you considered that every time you speak, you are essentially casting a spell? This is why it is so important to pay special attention to how you speak about yourself, your life, the world and others. For example, if you are struggling with a difficult task and in frustration you say “I can’t do it!” What do you expect to happen? You are telling the Universe that you cannot do it and at that time dooming yourself to failure, until you change your mind set. When we’re in a negative mind set we can literally curse ourselves with our words, by speaking about ourselves in a derogatory way.

When you speak, try to speak in a loving way. Whatever you think, decide to speak about it from a positive point of view, with love. If you can do this consistently, you will see how much your life improves as you begin to see the good, and the Universe sends more good back to you.

Start out by ‘taking a moment’ when you are stressed, having a bad day or feeling anxious – before you speak, take a moment to consider if what you are going to say focusses on the negative and if it does, find a way of speaking about the positive instead by maintaining a more balanced, objective point of view – just pause before you speak rather than launching straight into a moan or a rant. 😉

LOVE AND LIGHT TOO YOU ALL!
