Michigan Governor Rick Snyder said in an email dated October 6, 2015, “It’s become clear that Flint is a major problem”. Around 300 emails related to the Flint water debacle were released by the Governor. Governor Snyder is under fire for the crisis, in which officials changed the way Flint residents received their water. This difference in source and lack of treatment of the water cased major health issues including lead poisoning.
