Mike Evans played Lionel Jefferson on the classic sitcom The Jeffersons. He died on December 14, 2006 at age 57. Besides being a talented actor, he along with Eric Monte, co-created the show Good Times. Ralph Carter’s character Michael Evans was named after him.
