Recommendations have been made by the Nevada Taxicab Authority after an audit of Las Vegas area taxis found they have overcharged passengers to the tune of $47 million a year. One example auditors found is the $3 credit card processing fee that the cabs charge. According to the auditors, it is excessive and should be no more than 90 cents.
