This heartwarming video (all pun intended) shows the sweet moment Trevor Sullivan, 15, of Detroit, Michigan, wakes up after his heart transplant surgery. His father filmed him per Trevor’s request. His dad said Trevor was diagnosed with severe cardiomyopathy in February 2015. Trevor had been “feeling sick” for about a year. In November of 2015, Trevor underwent transplant surgery after a donor heart became available. Although Trevor had the surgery in November, it was just this week when his dad Philip shared the video in hopes of promoting organ donation.
The bottom line is this: we all don’t live the intended duration of out lives and we can’t take our organs with us.
