Vital Mineral – Magnesium Chloride

mg

Beside the anti-microbial and immune-stimulating properties, both magnesium and chloride have many other important functions in keeping us young and healthy.
Magnesium chloride is the name for the chemical compound with the formula MgCl2 and its various hydrates MgCl2(H2O)x. These salts are typical ionic halides, being highly soluble in water. The hydrated magnesium chloride can be extracted from brine or sea water.
To understand how important Magnesium is to your body, the lack of it, can cause irritability, mental depression, confusion, twitching, trembling, apprehension, and insomnia because the human body would be unable to maintain fluids in blood vessels, conduct nerve transmissions, move muscles, or maintain proper kidney function.

Prof. Delbet – a French surgeon, found magnesium chloride to be beneficial in a wide range of diseases. These included diseases of the digestive tract such as colitis and gall bladder problems, Parkinson’s disease, tremors and muscle cramps; acne, eczema, psoriasis, warts and itching skin; impotence, prostatic hypertrophy, cerebral and circulatory problems; asthma, hay fever, urticaria and anaphylactic reactions. Hair and nails became stronger and healthier and patients had more energy.
Dr. A. Neveu found it effective with asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia and emphysema; pharyngitis, tonsillitis, hoarseness, common cold, influenza, measles, rubella, mumps, poisoning, gastroenteritis, abscesses and infected wounds
Dr. R. Vergini found more uses in treatments for acute asthma attacks, shock, tetanus, herpes zoster, acute and chronic conjunctivitis, optic neuritis, rheumatic diseases, many allergic diseases, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and beneficial effects in cancer therapy.

Because Magnesium dilates the arteries of the heart and lowers cholesterol and fat levels, can prevent heart attacks.
The higher the calcium intake, and low magnesium concentration, the higher risk of osteoporosis and hip fracture.
“The higher our intake of calcium relative to magnesium, the faster do we calcify and age. Most of the excess calcium in our diet ends up in our soft tissues and around joints leading to calcification with arthritic deformations, arteriosclerosis, cataracts, kidney stones and senility. Dr Seyle proved experimentally that biochemical stress can lead to the pathological calcification of almost any organ. The more stress, the more calcification, the more rapid the aging.” Source: Health Science Spirit
Improves digestion by combining with hydrogen in the stomach to make hydrochloric acid, a powerful digestive enzyme that is responsible for the breakdown of proteins, absorption of other metallic minerals, and activation of intrinsic factor, which in turn absorbs vitamin B12.
