The World’s Largest and Highest Glass Bridge

bridge

Six meters wide and made of 99 panels of clear glass, 430m (1,400ft) long, above 300m above the ground, the bridge can carry up to 800 people at the same time (access is being restricted to a maximum 8.000/day) between two mountain cliffs in Zhangjiajie park in China’s central Hunan province.
The glass-bottomed bridge will also feature the world’s highest bungee jump and serve as a runway for fashion shows and it was inspired from the movie Avatar and designed by Israeli architect Haim Dotan and cost around 3.4 million dollars.
Although the bridge’s height and transparent structure looks frightful and takes your breath away, officials have been doing everything in their power to dispel any fears and concerns by driving a car on it or sledgehammers to demonstrate the safety of it.
