A Lesson on Respect

A LESSON IN RESPECT
Sometimes people use “Respect” to mean “Treating someone like a Person” and sometimes they use “Respect” to mean “Treating someone like an Authority”

And Sometimes people who are used to being treated like an Authority say “If You Will NOT Respect me I Will NOT Respect You”, and they mean “If you Will NOT treat me like an Authority I Will NOT treat you like a Person”

AND THEY THINK THEY ARE BEING FARE, BUT THEY ARE NOT! AND IT IS NOT OKAY!

Respect is the most mis-understood and wrongly explained word in the world! Respect comes natural. Respect, our highest social norm and most important value usually gets lost when you are a toddler and grown ups start to interfere in your natural feeling that everybody is basically the same, as your self.
Once adults start to tell you that others are different and you believe in this conditioned way of thinking, you have lost your natural respect. Respect means only one thing… All the other explanations are selfish and egocentric expressions of people who think they are better then others…. You are no better than the people you seek respect from so respect them in return! That’s the start of universal PEACE!

You’ll find that respect is most lost in religious groups like Christians, Catholics, Judaism, Islam, but also within groups like politics, war or peace and any other group where there is an atmosphere of being better then others. That’s why the world is so messed up. Even working class against unemployed and older against younger. Unfortunately the worst group is children who just learned that there is a difference between boys and girls, black and white, authorities and obeyers. If people would understand that respect has everything to do with understanding, and realizing that we are all the same as we are all one, and that we all…. ALL… have one thing in common during our entire life…

HAPPINESS, And that everybody should be able to achieve that. The one thing that we all have in common and that we all can relate to, and the thing that should bind us all together is our search for happiness. No matter what religion, criminal, retard, police officer, woman, child, paki or disabled person…. They all want to be happy. You can say that happiness is our highest quality of life. All our norms and values are there to achieve that. Unfortunately the majority of people are blinded by egocentrism. Egocentrism is the opposite of accepting everyone being the same. 🙂
