According to New Zealand Herald, tests if an anti-aging drugs on human will start next year, expected result of this is the extension of human life span to 120 years in string health conditions to the very last breath.




The drug to be tested is Metformin, a popular diabetes pill which costs cents to make. Metformin helps in increasing the flow of oxygen on a cellular level thereby slowing down the cell divisions that help our body to function correctly but leads to aging.
The drug has been tested on roundworms and researchers have gotten positive results, so the next step will be to try the drug on humans.
