Moscow says Turkey shot down plane to protect oil trade with ISIS
Russian President Vladimir Putin accused Turkey of trading oil with ISIS and claims that turkey shot down Russian warplane not because it was in unauthorized airspace but because Turkey wants to cover her dirty linen. Turkish aircraft had on November 24 shot down a Russian warplane that was moving in its airspace killing the pilot on board after several warnings.
Countering the words of Russian President, Putin is President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who insisted that Turkey gets her oil and natural gas legally and that Turkey knows too well to deal with terrorists. He further added that he will resign if Russian can prove their claim and that his Russian counterpart should resign if these allegations are untrue.
