Dr. Ben Carson suspended his campaign for republican Presidential candidacy after a volunteer staffer was killed in a car wreck. Braden Joplin, 25, died after sustaining injuries in an accident when the van in which he was a passenger hit a patch of ice and crossed into oncoming traffic, colliding with a truck. Joplin was a volunteer working with Carson’s campaign. He was a student, attending school in Lubbock, Texas.
