This is a project devoted “to capturing the sartorial savvy of the senior set. I feature people who live full creative lives. They live life to the fullest, age gracefully and continue to grow and challenge themselves.” says Ari Seth Cohen the creator of Advanced Style
“I never use to tell my age to my students, but now I’m very proud because it took a very long time to get it, but now I am 90 years old.There is no time limit on anything. When you look good, you look good!” says Ilona Royce Smithkin.
“Anybody in Advanced Style has the same feeling I have: as you get older we get better. Is not what you wear, is how you wear it. I buy what I love. Money has nothing to do with style. You can wear the same thing everyday, if you have scarfs, hats and if you have jewelry. Accessories are the most important thing.” says Lynn Dell

They have style, they have a hunger for art, color, fashion, bracelets, leopard glass, and they don’t care. They live and enjoy every second. They don’t want to look crazy, but chique.
