‘Jonas’ Causes Massive Jersey Shore Flooding

North-Wildwood-Flooding
High winds courtesy of winter storm Jonas and high tides are causing incredible flooding on the Delaware coast and the Jersey Shore. These floodwaters are more severe than those from superstorm Sandy in 2012. “Superstorm Sandy” was the deadliest and most destructive hurricane of the 2012 Atlantic hurricane season, and the second-costliest hurricane in United States history. Damage from Sandy in the United States amounted to $71.4 billion.
