The ambulance drone is a medical toolkit that will fly to any emergency situation and guide people to make lifesaving procedures. Once the drone gets the emergency place, the call is transferred to the drone so this will give the caller, the opportunity to perform tasks such preparing the defibrillator .
Dronesforgood explores future possibilities with drones and develops the technology on an open platform. One of its recent developments is the Ambulance-Drone, a high speed drone network that delivers emergency supplies to any location within minutes.
“The goal is to improve existing emergency infrastructure with a network of drones. This new type of drones can go over 100 km/h and reaches its destination within minutes, which increases chance of survival from 8% to 80%! This drone folds up and becomes a toolbox for all kind of emergency supplies. Future implementations will also serve other use cases such as drowning, diabetes, respiratory issues and traumas” says the creator of this project and his name is Alec Momont and he has a vison that will help saving lives.
